The Yare Moon Of Hugo Chavez Auctions For $255,000

The Yare Moon Painting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez

CARACAS, Venezuela - President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez is on a mission to raise money for his socialist party. Chavez painting called The Yare Moon has been auctioned for $255,000 who bought by three Venezuelan businessmen. The Yare Moon is painted 16 years ago while serving a two-year sentence in the Yare prison following a failed coup attempt to topple Venezuela's government.

The painting The Yare Moon ultimately get more cash than works by some of Venezuela's top artists. 40 people joined the bidding, which opened around US$14,000.

Google Internet Browser Will Launch Soon

Google launches internet browser Called Chrome

There are different browser in the web that fit in your web style, to compete with Internet Explorer and Firefox... Google is launching an open source web browser that is designed to be lightweight and fast, and to cope with the next generation of web applications that rely on graphics and multimedia.

This will Called Chrome, it will launch as a beta for Windows machines in 100 countries, with Mac and Linux versions to come.

Hurricane Gustav Make New Orleans A Ghost Town

Hurricane Gustav slams Louisiana

Hurricane Gustav which has now weakened to Category One hurricane is moving inland from the US Gulf coast, bearing down on the Louisiana community of Opelousas which brings heavy rains.

In New Orleans, the city's levees are holding surging floodwaters, although sea levels could still rise further. Some two million people have fled inland from the Louisiana coast. Gustav, which had left nearly 90 people dead last week as it crossed the Caribbean, made landfall west of New Orleans on Monday.
